Lilies, First Tuesday Formation

Lilies of the Valley is an outreach for consecrated women who are publicly or privately given to our Lord. Those intentionally discerning or in formation may also apply.

It offers private formation from learned priests and formators for a 1.5 hour session via zoom once monthly on topics related to the theology of consecrated life and pillars of formation: intellectual, spiritual, human, and that of the feminine genius. These sessions are recorded and available to all who have access to Lilies.

To apply, you can register here.

This First Tuesday will be formation given by Father Peregrine Fletcher, O. Praem, Novice Master for the Norbertine Canons in Orange County, CA.  He will be speaking on “St. Philomena.”

Fr. Peregrine Fletcher, O. Praem is a canon of St. Michael’s Abbey in Silverado, California. A native of St. Louis, Missouri, he entered the Norbertine Order in 2013, professed his solemn vows in 2019, and was ordained to the priesthood the following year. He currently serves his community as Master of Novices, with responsibility for forming the many young men who come to the abbey each year to pursue a religious vocation. The Canons have a particular devotion to St. Philomena and have venerated and promoted her as a patroness for purity. He will be sharing her story and their devotion to her, as well as his recent children’s book about her, in order to inspire those living her vocation; Bride of Christ.

If you are a Lilies member who needs access, please text 901-331-1734 for a zoom link to be sent to you. You may otherwise look at the Lilies Outreach newsletter sent to your inbox on the first Monday prior for the appropriate link.
