Advent Open House filled with Community & Holiday Cheer

The Advent season is a time of gathering together in expectation for Christ’s return at Christmas. At Mary and Elizabeth House, we recently hosted our annual Advent Open House that brought together our community in a heartwarming celebration. This event was not only successful in terms of attendance and engagement but also in spreading joy and the news of how Christ comes to many through the Mary and Elizabeth apostolate.

From the moment the doors opened, the atmosphere was filled with holiday cheer and excitement. Our missionaries sought to create a warm and welcoming environment, adorned with festive decorations and twinkling lights. The event featured a raffle, tours of the houses for prayer and apostolate, and favors in the form of chocolate truffles made by our missionaries for the Little King Pop-Up Shop, which had opened that week for its Christmas season!

The enthusiasm was palpable, as mission partners, missionaries, and friends all came together to connect with one another, learn more about the apostolate, and celebrate the many fruits and successes of another year dedicated to the interior renewal of women.

We are grateful to everyone who contributed to the success of the Advent Open House and for their unwavering support of the Mary and Elizabeth mission. As we reflect on this heartwarming event, we are filled with gratitude for those we accompany, serve, and partner with. We pray a blessed and holy Christmas for all of our friends and mission partners.
